Widely considered among the best Rosés in the world, Bandol Rosé is aged for 6 to 8 months before bottling allowing it to develop complexity, while retaining its wonderful freshness. Domaine Tempier rigorously maintains the high standard of its signature rosé year after year, but even on those terms the 2024 vintage is a stellar one.
A distinctive gold colour in the glass with aromas of peach, apricot, citrus, lilac, and spices. The palate is beautifully round with peach and citrus flavors, refreshing acidity, no tannin and a long fruity and spicy finish.
Wonderful with fish, especially shellfish, and summer chicken dishes, or enjoy on its own sitting outside on a sunny day.
Always one of my favourite estates, Domaine Tempier’s Bandol Rosé remains one of the world’s reference points for how much flavor and character can be built into a rosé wine
